A Week of Work, Connection and Adventure in Morocco

Last month, I packed my laptop, grabbed my passport, and set off for sunny Morocco for a working week like no other. This wasn’t just any work trip - it was an opportunity to collaborate in person with a client and one of my incredible VA Hub Ltd team members, the wonderful Natálie.

The week was a blend of virtual and in-person academy sessions, deep dives into our work styles and strengthening connections with the team. By Friday, we were absolutely exhausted - but in the best way possible.

So, what did we do next? Naturally, we embarked on a 15km hike into the breathtaking Atlas Mountains.

Led by our guide, the ever-grounded Hikram, we took in the stunning views, met local Berbers, and even had an unexpected (and rather hilarious) encounter with a group of rather opinionated mountain goats. It was exactly the kind of reset we needed - stepping away from screens, breathing in the fresh mountain air and immersing ourselves in the moment.

And then, something magical happened. That evening, the work bubble finally popped. One minute, we were all business; the next, we were laughing, sharing life stories and remembering that we’re not just virtual assistants - we’re real people with real connections.

This trip was a perfect reminder of what The VA Hub Ltd is truly about. It’s not just about ticking off tasks or meeting deadlines. It’s about community, collaboration and yes, sometimes, getting absolutely roasted by a goat.

Here’s to more adventures, deeper connections, and finding those moments that make the work we do even more meaningful.
